“…Hosting honeybee hives on my property has been one of the most fulfilling and enriching decisions I’ve made—not just for myself, but for my business and community.”
“…The first year having the honey bees in our yard inspired us to get rid of almost all the grass and add fruit trees, berries, herbs, native plants and a hoop house & raised beds for vegetables.”
“…The bees have brought a quiet magic to my garden…the whole landscape feels more alive.

Biodynamic beekeeping is a holistic, bee-centered approach that honors and reveres the hive as a whole, living organism and supports the bees’ natural rhythm, instincts, and health. Biodynamics emphasizes minimal interference, natural comb building, and seasonal guidance, fostering resilience and vitality in both the bees and their surrounding ecosystem.
Honeybees are extraordinarily adaptable to their environment’s microclimates and can navigate complex landscapes, making them perfect for urban and suburban areas. Whether placed on a roof, tucked behind a shed, in the middle of agricultural acreage, or displayed proudly in a residential, urban garden on a small lot, the bees can thrive all the same!
We offer the unique marketing opportunity to invest in a meaningful corporate social responsibility project that emphasizes your company’s interest in environmental stewardship, biodiversity, and sustainable practices. How many businesses do you know that hosts hives?
I steward bees because when I care for them I am welcoming the entire earth into my soul and caring for it’s entirety at the same time. This is a sense of fulfillment and quiet joy, seeing the sanctuary and ecosystem around me functioning how it should and thriving, that settles deep into the heart. The bee supports the entire world’s ecosystem on her back and yet she’s merely doing what we’re all doing, trying to survive, thrive, and provide for our families. Helping her do that, in small but significant ways, is incredibly rewarding emotionally and yet it pays back dividends to all of humanity.
Like the bee, who leaves a flower in better condition than she found it, those who steward her are helping to leave the world in a better condition than we found it. This is what drives me. A better, more bountiful world for our future generations.
Naming each hive is an imperative part to biodynamic beekeeping due to the deeper, revering, and respectful relationship that is cultivated with the bees. Colonies are not compartmentally viewed as boxes with different types of bees inside. Each colony is treated and seen as a whole, living organism. Naming a hive acknowledges the colony’s individuality and reinforces a sense of connection, care, and responsibility between the beekeeper, host, and bees.
